Point Arena Lighthouse - POSTCARD (5.5"x7")

The first Point Arena Lighthouse was constructed in 1870, but was rebuilt after damage from the 1906 earthquake. The new lighthouse featured a 1st Order Fresnel Lens seven feet in diameter, weighing 4,700 pounds, visible for over 21 miles. In 2000, the Point Arena Lighthouse Keepers, Inc became the official owners of the property due to their diligent historic preservation and educational efforts.
